Pretty URLs... works on all pages but home?

Hey all,
I have a dev site set up athttp://www.whtestingsite.com
Pretty URLs is working on all pages except the homepage?
http://www.whtestingsite.com/index.php... goes the the correct home page
and
http://www.whtestingsite.com goes to a page is an older version and doesnt have the edit bar at the top.
Stuck here, any advice is much appreciated, Thanks in advance!
