I'm very sorry I failed at asking this I have no idea what file where to put this . Is it the root/config/site.php? And just paste provided script from dashboard?
The system will try to write the .htaccess file for you when you check and save Pretty URLs in Dashboard > Sitewide Settings.
Look in your root directory (alongside blocks, concrete, config, ...).
That's where to put it if there's no .htaccess file there (or it doesn't have the c5 rewriting code in it already).
I'm attaching a screenshot.

What's the URL?
Does it work again if you uncheck Pretty URLs?
The .htaccess won't be in the Concrete5 File Manager. The screenshot I posted shows what the directory structure on your web server should look like. Can you log onto your webserver via FTP or your webhost's file manager? Or perhaps this is local on your computer?

It may be that c5 isn't able to write the file and you'll have to create it yourself.
If so, create a plain text file and name it something like htaccess.txt (if you name it starting with a dot it may become invisible on your computer).
Paste in the Pretty URL code from the c5 dashboard, upload it to your root directory on the webserver, then rename it to .htaccess
Pretty URLs should work after that.
