UserBlog is included with the package that does exactly what you are wanting. It's still not in a full scale release state yet. Although, our plans are to do so by year end. Essentially what that means is this: there may be bugs, we will work on them with the help and feedback of the community. The release timeline is entirely dependent on use confidence.

As far as I know, it works fantastic though. We have a few clients that use this for intranet use and it works great.
