problem updating form block in ie

hi all,

i'm having problems when i try to update a block with a form in it in IE, in firefox all works well.

When i hit the update button it shows me a blanc page with this message:

{"aID":"237","arHandle":"blockname","cID":"136","error":false,"bID":"253"}

then i hit F5 and the page saves the data and comes back to the result screen where all works well again.

any suggestions how to fix this?

i'm using version 5.4

Are you seeing any Javascript errors? If so, you might try Firebug...

It may be an issue with some reserved names -- what are the field names in your form?

Thank you very much for your answer, i'm sure the post you mentioned is in the right direction, however the problem in my situation only occurs when i try to save a form block.

any other thoughts on this?

i found it!

the problem only occurs when i try to save a form with a dropdown question in it, everything else works fine!

thank you agedman, for pointing me!

don't know how to fix it though but at least i know what the problem is!

Great! If changing the name of the dropdown doesn't help, maybe this thread will shed some light on the problem...
