Problem deleting or moving blocks.

I want to delete a block.

I edit the page, click on the block, select Delete and answer "Do you want to delete this block?" by clicking OK.

Nothing happens. The block doesn't go away.

It doesn't matter what block or what theme or whether the theme includes the block or the block is one I added myself.

Also, when I try to move a block, I click on Move, drag the block, click the Save Positioning button and wait. The button gets a little icon that shows it's working, but nothing happens. I let it sit overnight and still nothing happens.

I'm using Firefox 3 as the browser and version 5.2.0 of concrete5. My web server is Apache 2 and it has full rights on the MySQL database.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? It's probably something trivial and stupid but I don't see it. Thanks!

if you use the scrapbook to copy a block place it then try to move it, it doesn't work.

I have absolutely no idea why, but I do know the dev team is aware of it.

To be able to move again, I believe you currently have to go back to an older page version before the block was scrapbooked in.

Read a post somewhere about it the other day.

Thanks, it sounds like the scrapbook problem could be related to this one.

In the event that someone tries to debug this, I should mention that this did not involve any use of the scrapbook; the site is so new that I haven't gotten to that point yet. Also, it occurs on page types as well as pages.

It looks like the problem has to do with an outdated Apache mod_security module on the server. I haven't been able to test it yet, but other posts suggest that to be the case. Updating the module has solved similar problems for others.
