Problem editing block backgrounds

I've set up a new dummy site, with the default template.

I've added an image as a block - in edit mode, I click on that block and click on design, which is on the pop-up menu.

I navigate to region - try and select my region background - click update - page does some loading - but nothing updates - still the same white bg.

Any help/pointers?

Well, you just have to click the small 'Ok' button within the color box before clicking update.

Amazing how the problem is missing something so simple like that :)
