Problems with comments disappearing from Guestbook block

When I move a Guestbook block from a previous blog post onto the archives (older posts) page (via copying to scrapbook) the Guestbook block appears without the comments. How can I move the comments over to the archives page? I'm probably doing this the hard way but I think the comments should go with that block that is saved to the scrapbook.
