PWAs with Concrete5
Permalink
Hi there
I already reached out with this topic some years ago.
In my view C5 has fantastic requirements on board for being a good basis for a progressive web app. Although it surely could be a bit less heavy.
But anyway, I wanted to ask if there is anyone out there who also made experiences with pwa's and C5?
For example such an addon:
https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/pwa-for-wp/...
Would be very helpful.
Anyone who could help with that for a fair price?
And also other ideas and technologies like AMP-HTML or implementation of ionic framework etc. to make it faster and lighter?
Many thanks for your help.

hi stewblack23
that sounds not too bad. :)
you would do a template with react or vue.js, right?
i know it's already available in wordpress but i don't really like the cms and i also think concrete5 is much better to understand.

Yes. I would just create a custom theme and add the vue.js or react part I need. I just stated learning vue.js so when I get a better feel for the vue I will give me a more detailed answer.
I've been playing with the idea of making a web app with a C5 backend using something like React or Vue.js. Making a plugin with this functionality might be a good idea. But it sounds more like a case to case bases even though wordpress has a plugin like this.
