Questions about Concrete 5
Permalink
Hi guys am new to concrete 5, I came across this from another CMS forum, where a user "Jordandev" mentioned concrete5 and some cool things, after looking at this, I am eager to present this to my boss. I work for a switching company "Interswitchng" and we have alot of sites for different products, however each site is developed in a different platform, and this is quite difficult to maintain. So I was tasked to evaluation different CMS with various conditions:
1. Multi-lingual, multi-domain: We can launch multiple websites in multiple languages for multiple countries
2. Flexible and simple enough to give ‘Marketing’ full control of content
3. Easy to use
4. Content created can target multiple channels/devices with ease
5. If possible, provide frameworks that allow for ‘staging’ changes or modifications before being pushed to production (ways to view all pending changes before pushing to live)
6. Integrate to our active directory for access control
7. If possible, provide APIs that can be consumed by webapps to get ‘content’
8. License costs have to be minimal, but do not mind professional services/support
Thanks all

There are some API projects listed inhttp://www.concrete5.org/documentation/how-tos/designers/missing-an...
I don't know about active directory integration off-the-shelf. 5.7 is probably better for integrating authorization methods.
