Quick Page-Building Tool?

Hello everyone,

I use C5 to manage a video site and regularly publish new videos. However, it's a bit tedious to load a page template and then copy / paste in all of the new video information (title, splash screen image, link to video, etc).

I'm wondering if there is a built-in "Form-Maker" of some sort, whereby I can create new pages, copy / paste a few lines of information, and have the page built with those?

If not, would anyone be aware of a way by which I could write a script or something to accomplish this? If I could fill in a few lines and have the webpage generate from there, it would save an incredible amount of time.

Thanks!

You could use your clipboard or scrapbook to copy video blocks and then paste them on new pages. This will retain urls data etc, and what I use to archive media with the multimedia box. The other thing that may interest you ishttp://performancec5.com/how-to/adding-an-item-to-every-page/... depending on what you do with that, it could be the right road to go down.

To copy to scrapbook/clipboard just click the block select copy, and then take it to new page, and paste.

I currently just have a page template setup with video boxes and such ready to go, but that means I still have to go through and copy/paste the appropriate values into the boxes. While that in itself doesn't take too long, the Dashboard itself tends to lag for me when editing boxes, so it makes the process somewhat time-consuming... hence why I'm hoping for a way to say, "Create a Page," fill in 4-5 lines, and have it build the page with those values already in the appropriate places.
