Rackspace Cloud Hosting

I have a few Concrete5 sites hosted on my Rackspace cloud sites account and they all seem to load pretty slow. Like 4-5 seconds slow. On my old shared hosting account they were less than 1 second.
So I'm curious to see what other peoples experiences are like. Are you still hosting with the Rackspace cloud, or do they suck and thus you switched somewhere else?
