Radius Search for concrete 5.5

Hi,
I have a client who wants a stockist search (by postcode) on their site which is nearly complete using 5.5, on previous sites I have used the search tools add-on but have been informed that this does not work with the latest version of c5. Can anyone suggest an alternate solution?

I have had a pm from the developer who has said that the search tools add-on is not compatible with 5.5.
I did have a look at the dealer locator however it is out of budget for the job and I don't think it can be extended to how I need it to display the stockists.
Any other ideas?
