Real Estate Site like Loopnet
Permalink
I'm not a programmer. I know html, css and struggle with PHP and javascript is practically alien. How difficult is it to adapt a Concrete5 site to have a full-featured Real Estate search like this:
http://www.loopnet.com/forsale/?linkcode=480&return=1...
and
http://www.loopnet.com/forsale/more/?FromFewerOptions=true&Link...
I'm thinking that's a site that would cost 10s of thousands of dollars, at least.
I searched the Add-Ons and of the 2 Real Estate plugins offered, both demos *appeared* broken and screenshots don't say much.
This is just the beginning, though. Now add the possibility to add all entries just once and have them automatically listed at various real estate websites. Now imagine that they would like to upload video as well as images during this "all at once" process... I don't even know if that's possible, but if it was I think it would involve something like stripping out certain elements (video, for example) in order to stream in content to various sites. But, considering various APIs out there, I don't even think it's really possible.
Just want some experienced programmer feedback on how to respond to this request.
