Recommendation for Gallery Block?

Hi all,

I am looking for a gallery block or manual slideshow block where the actual thumbnails are concealed.

In other words I want to display the front cover of a children's book as the main view of the block. When that is clicked on, I would like a lightbox style gallery to be triggered so that the visitor can "turn" the pages of the book, by clicking on the images.

I can't figure out from the demos (not all blocks have demos) which block (if any) would allow me to do this - any recommendations?

Iain

Although not exactly what you're envisioning... We've utilized the Scribd add-on to use the page turn function on newsletters etc.
The page turn we're using is prompted by an arrow instead of an image click however.
Scribd can be integrated directly using the html block (actual book/doc is hosted on the scribd site for free)
Worth a peek IMHO

If you want the look of flipping pages I'd go with something already designed to function as so. You can do a search online and find a lot of software programs, some free, that you can create a flash flipbook with. Then you can import flash as a block in your site.

Thanks - I did as you suggested and found a flash book creator - then plugged the result into Concrete via a flash block.

Cheers
