Registration Notification
Permalink
I have launched my website :) and would like to thank everyone who has assisted this far, but there is another issue that I would like to address.
I am looking to receive an automated email notification when a new user registers on C5. Does anyone know the best way to set this up?

I have already enabled manual registration approval, but I am looking for automated email notification to let me know when someone has registered.
I had the scenario today where my website had a new registrant and because I wasn't checking every 5 minutes their account wasn't activated until close of business (not good).

Any tips on this issue.
Should be basic to sent a registration e-mail to a defined Administrator e-mail address.
Thanx

I also am interested in this. I posted this not too long ago if you want to read what others suggested.

On my site, I need a way for the admin to know if someone registered. Also once the admin does approve the registration, no email is sent to let the user know they are approved (at least not when I tested it). I hate to have to modify the core to do this, but I can't think of any other way.

Go into your dashboard, click on the users tab at left, then navigate to user registration.
I think what you might be looking for is "Registration is enabled, but must be manually approved".
