RSS feed failure

Hi all,
Had a client request that the CC5 (latest version) have RSS feeds of their content.
I tried enabling feeds from the Page List Block as well as the Page List+ block and
both are miserable failures that don't work properly.
Am I missing something or are RSS feeds a thing that was majorly overlooked in the construction of CC5?

Would it be possible for you to provide a better description of the actual problem than "don't work properly" if you have a specific issue somebody here is more likely to have the information you need to fix the problem.

The CC5 Page List block doesn't generate proper XML. When trying to validate the feed it gets this:
"This feed does not validate.
line 1, column 0: XML parsing error: <unknown>:1:0: no element found [help]
With the Page List+ block the Rss XML only generates the title of any element in a list but doesn't parse xml for any other element, nor had any formatting to properly show the RSS feed.

Do you have an example URL that we can look at? I have used RSS feeds on sites before and not had this issue.
