Sample Content Generator

I just watched a great video about the Sample Content and Install Generator. I was excited to go give a try but I couldn't seem to find it... well, I checked and it isn't marked as compatible with 5.6.x. Has anyone else tried this or perhaps a manual install of the package? Any news of an update being available soon? It looks like a great tool and I'd love to try it on 5.6 so any information that can help would be great!

Does anybody know what happens to the Sample-Content-Generator? Or is there a new approach to export/import xml content in C5.6 now?

Hmm, I'm not aware of any changes we've made. Will try to have a closer when I'm in the office - might take a while though, I'm playing salesman these days..
The sample content import still works for a basic c5 install and for eCommerce.
So (assuming the same format - big assumption!!) if the generator does not work in the latest c5, maybe find a version of c5 it still works with, use that to set up the sample content and generate the xml, then import that to the latest version.

It still works fine for me, version 5.6.2.1...

The add-on doesn't show up when you search for it in your dashboard because it's marked as incompatible with 5.6 but I'm able to use it without any problems.
