Search for user restricted pages

Hi
I am creating a site with a number of username/password restricted pages.
Currently, if I login as an administrator and do a search for a specific URL string, the search results show the particular page I am looking for.
If I log out and search for the same URL string, then the search results come back with nothing. Now I understand this maybe because the page is restricted, however, what would be my preference, is that the search results show the pages, but the user is redirected to the login page if they click on the link in the search results.
