Search only one page type??

Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone was able to do this:

my client wants users to search either the whole website or just news.
News is a own page type within my template. Anyone got some hints on how to do this?

got it solved. I put all of them below a page called 'news' which I configured to be excluded from sitemap and navigation. Than I can use the 'search within path' option of the search block. et voila!
