Search Results Block
Permalink
Hello,
When I set the site wide search block, it gives me the option of sending the results to a separate page, initially I didn't do this as i hadn't created the results page, when you did a search it displayed the results directly below the search input on what ever page you happened to be on, I have now created a search results page in the sitemap and changed the value on the site wide search bar to use this page instead, now when I run this I don't get any results, just the blank page, how do you actually get the results to appear on the page?
I'm assuming it's a block of code that needs to go on to that page specifically but not sure which block of code is required for the results page? from the list of blocks I can add from the left hand pane?
any step by step guides with images or vids would be much appreciated as I swear I have only have one brain cell left, to try and work this out... and I'm positive in earlier versions when installing this it created the search results page code for you, not 100% sure though as that was a few versions back and I might be going a bit mad tbh...
Cheers

i think you only need to add a Search block to the results page.
