Search results in new block

I wanted to get my search results to display in a block other than the sidebar, but on the same page. I found this discussion,http://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/customizing_c5/search-res... pretty much answered my question, but only for single pages.

For instance, putting a search on my blog home page worked fine, since I specified displaying the results on "/blog" (which draws from its own page type). But what do I do with individual blog post pages? What would be the proper path to specify that search results should be displayed on the particular page you're on, rather than the blog home page?

Anyone have a solution?

Why don't you just set the search block to show results on the same page instead of telling it to show results on a different page? (when editing the block, uncheck the "Post to Another Page Elsewhere" box)
