We have built a custom search block that displays results from a pre-set search that we can define. We are doing this because we want to have a "Related Items" bar down the side of our page, so we predefine the search term adn the number of results to show in the results...

The problem is that the current page inevitably shows up in the results as well. Is there any way that anybody can think to get around this? I thought that there may be a syntax to include in the search that is a does not include symbol, like "-" and then put the url of the current page.... But I'm not sure if that is the correct syntax? Does anybody know if this exists, or have any other suggestions on how to do it?
