searchable external links

If I use the command "add external link" in a page the external link is not searchable. If I make a description of an external link I would expect this to be returned in a search of the entire site,

How do I resolve this in an easy manner?

I am also trying to make a Table Of Content for all my external link but can not find any add ons or commands to do this. Anyone?
