Setting block data from Single Page

I am in the process of creating a single page application that will contain a custom block. I was wondering if there was a way to set certain values in the block from the single page?
More of an example would be say you got to the single page by entering your address, how would I then set a custom map blocks address to be that entered from the user, and not when adding the block to the page as usually done.
