Setting page type defaults after pages have been created.

I need some pointers here, I must be doing something wrong.

I created about 8 pages, then realized that I can set the defaults for the full.php and view.php templates. So I have all the defaults set and when i create a new page now the default blocks show up.

But the first 8 pages will not show my new default changes that i added.

Is there a known issue here?
Do the pages have to be deleted and re created?

Well so much for that question, I figured it out. Funny how I couldn't see the setup on child pages link in the block pop up window all day until I ask for help about it :)
