Shop in C5

Hi,

I am looking for a convinient mechanism to integrate C5 website with a database-driven shop:

The expected features are:

1) On the homepage - a grid containing featured products from each product section: single entry should contain:
- name of the product
- short description
- a photo of the product (expandable)
- a link to individual product page.

2) On the left side of the homepage - vertical menu with links to each product section (and sub-section).

3) Each product section (or sub-section) page contains similar layout but it contains a grid with unlimited number of product entries.

4) Individual product page contains a few photos of the product, full technical specification, price, delivery information and order form.

5) There is a search feature, so one can find a specific product through a search form.

6) It is possible to "feed" the system through database import. All product information can be stored in an Excel file and, all images are named appropriately, so rather than manually assembing each grid entry and individual product page - the website operator can import an updated Excel file (or any other suitable table format) and update all products at once. Of course - manual updates of individual entries should also be possible if necessary.

ANY IDEAS???
Is C5 appropriate for that task or a custom CMS system is the right way?

Interesting - can you please recommend any "pro" themes what will work with your E-commerce add-on?

I would like to avoid scripting all styles from scratch.

Here you are C5 themes I like but I have no idea how to integrate them with your add-on:
