Show photo slideshow from a dynamic folder

I'm looking for an add-on that can load photos from a specific dynamic folder on the server and show them as a full screen slideshow. The photos are being uploaded from various locations, cameras, laptops, etc. So the add-on will need to refresh the folder images list while playing the slideshow.
Interesting features would be:
- (optional) watermark phots before showing them online
- a few cool transitions such as this one:

Not familiar with any add ons that would load photos from a folder out of the box. If you're looking to code your own though you could start with this guide from Jordan Lev and adapt it to load from a folder:http://c5blog.jordanlev.com/blog/2011/12/build-a-slideshow-block/...
