Showing website to client before it goes live

Hi everyone,

What is the best option or way to show the website on-line to a client before the site goes live so know one else can see it?

Sign the user up for a site account by going to dashboard, and than under the members section clicking add user. Sign them up with username, pass etc. Now that they have an account go back to dashboard, and click on System & Settings , under permissions & access, click site acess, and than under viewing permissions click the members button, and save.

Send owner their login info, and when they visit the site they will be prompted to sign in, before they can view.

Hi Ekko, I tried the SITE ACCESS option from the dashboard as you said and I have selected MEMBERS only for site access, however when I type the website it shows the webiste as public, so anyone can enter. I tried from different computers. No idea why this is not working. Any ideas?

If you have set the site to remember you than it will see you as a registered member would be my first thought. My second thought would be whether ot not your pressing save after you select members only.

Not to self promote, but I made something that helps with that situation(it's free).
