SideBar customization
Permalink
Hello,
I'm working on a auto-nav that shows the complete website, with the subpages also visible. When I set this in the index it works OK (of course) but when I create new pages it switches back to the standard sidebar with no subpages. I tried to customize the view.php or header_menu.php and place a new one in blocks/autonav or blocks/autonav/templates, but I can't fix the code ( still working on my PHP skills. Any of you have an idea or know a good tutorial about customization of that one ??

A small step for mankind, but a big one for me. Second time you're helping me out, let me know if you're ever in Amsterdam, I owe you one....

yes. I will be coming to Amsterdam one day, and will happily take your "one" and return the favor.

I owe you one too... let me know when your in Omaha Nebraska and I'll get you one... I visit portland every now and then so maybe I'll go your way.
mess around with the options there till the preview pane shows the children of the page you're on at that level.
you can put this modified autonav in your scrapbook, or you can add it to the defaults for the page type in dashboard and it will always show up.
