I am pulling out my hair trying to figure out how to make text look clean and simple. In the standard content editor, if you press enter, the line jumps down to a new paragraph instead of directly under the text. There is no way to change this.

Also if I change the font or spacing by pulling in something formatted in word and it works, if I go back to edit it, it changes it back to ugly formatting.

Am I doing something wrong?

I should add that I am a print designer with almost no web/html experience.
