site loss due to theme update

dear friends.
I updated the website theme and lost most of the website information. How could I back to the previous version to recover it
please help me out!

Its likely that the new theme doesn't have the same naming of areas that the old one does. If you go to root/packages/new_theme_name/themes/theme_name and edit the php files there you should be able to get the areas back to normal.
