Site Permission - Unable to make Private Page

Hi, posted on here a couple of times and both times the community have been really helpful! Really appreciate this. I'm using Concrete5 for my final year project creating a Social Networking site for the Very Elderly and I'm coming across two problems (I will post separately the other one)

The problem I'm facing is that I am creating a simple message based forum where people can add pictures and comments, which is working great! However, I cannot make this page private so non members (specifically non-members of the user group) cannot see the page. This means currently Joe Bloggs can see the page and everything that's being posted which isn't safe for my "users".

I have attached a picture with the user permissions on the Page from the SITEMAP. I cannot seem to set anything other from 'Guest' or 'Administrator'. I have also attached another screenshot of my user groups. So in this case, I would like 'Lakeside Care Home' to be able to view their message center and not another care home which I'll add in.

hello,
if I've misunderstood please ignore.
If you click on 'view' that should enable you to select the view permission and then add / remove groups / users from there. You want to remove guest from there and add your specific group(s) in. Then only people belonging to that group will be able to view the page.

Is there something stopping this working? If you set it like this are the permissions not working?
