solved (kind of): C5 in subdir -> TinyMCE opens blank inlinepopup at 1and1 webspace
Permalink
Hi
for the following: Using: Concrete 5.6.1.2
I have found the problem of my lately bad dreams: TinyMCE was showing only white (completely blank, 0 byte!) inlinepopups / new pages when I clicked on the "insert/edit image", the "URL" and the "HTML Code" icons ... so to say: whenever Tiny wanted to open a new window.
I am on a 1&1 (1und1.de) server. As I am building a new page it's not in the root dir, but at this time residing in a subdir calles "c5" e.g.:http://www.domain.de/c5 (also: domain.de/c5 - without www subdomain).
Now as we have a weekend I thought I could try:
Created a new subdir /latestsite. I moved all files and directories from the real site into this subdir. I moved then all files/folders from the /c5 subdir into the root, so that I can access the new, proposed site byhttp://www.domain.de or domain.de .
NOW TinyMCE works!
Has anyone an idea how I can get it working in the subdirectory as well?
I am a bit clueless and would like to give the siteowner the opportunity to add content "correctly" already. Meaning: Not only images and text, but links etc. as well and also adjust/edit images with tiny directly.
Thanks already.
PS: C5 Team... I am hoping for the 5.7 version where you might use/offer a different wysiwyg editor (http://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/chat/mercury-editor-or-an... ).
