Something gone desperatly wrong

I am a very new user, and I am a very basic beginner. I was going really well redesigning a website that I have inherited as part of a committee. I was changing a few page types around and this message came up.
mysqlt error: [1048: Column 'arHandle' cannot be null] in EXECUTE("INSERT INTO Areas (cID,arHandle,arIsGlobal) VALUES ('1',NULL,'0')")

I now cant go backwards or forwards, the edit button has disappeared and I very lost as what to do now. I have no idea about code or stuff like that. can anyone help? Please?

We're going to restore a previous page version to before the page type was changed, follow these steps:

Click 'Dashboard' (or go tohttp://www.nzdairyevent.co.nz/index.php/dashboard/... since you said the Edit bar is gone).
Click 'Full Sitemap'.
Find the page in the list that you need to revert.
Click it to open a menu, and select 'Versions'.
In the Versions popup, tick the box next to the version you wish to restore. The date should help you determine the one you need.
Click the little Thumbs Up icon in the top right, this will be the current version of the page now (it will now be in bold instead of the other one).

As for what caused your error, my guess would be there were some special Page Types created by the old "nz_dairy_event" theme you were using, that are no longer present in your new "supermint" theme.

I just refreshed your site and you are currently on the "dark_chocolate" theme.
