Sort Blocks - 'Add Block' Pop-Up Window

I'm running 5.5.1 and was wondering if there is a way to sort the block types that are displayed in the 'Add Block' pop-up window. It's not a huge issue, just an inconvenience for the content updaters since all of the custom blocks get placed at the bottom of the list.

It's not possible now. I have coded up solutions to this on many occasions but the core team continually refuses to add it to the system for some reason. If you want to help "motivate" them, you should maybe send them a nice message and say that you really want this feature and wish they would include it in the core system for the next update. Point them to here:

Okay, I just heard from Andrew and he said he'd try to include this in the next update. So hopefully it will be in Concrete5.5.2.

That is great news! I was hoping that it would be something coming down the line.

No, it didn't make it into 5.5.2 (unfortunately). Sounds like it will be in 5.5.3, but who knows (and even if it is, that's at least a few moths away).

Would be nice to have them in alphabetical order

Has this been added to 5.6? I'd find this really useful.

Ignore me - just found the reorder arrows in the dashboard, I was looking for a 'sort by' filter in the add block pop up.
