Spam still arriving after form is removed

We had a form on a page on our C5 5.5.1 site and started getting between 50 and 100 spam emails per day. We removed the form (it was no longer needed anyway, so we didn't bother with captcha). We're still getting 50-100 spam emails per day. I can't see how this is possible - anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Simon.

The URL of our form washttp://www.brighton.ac.uk/prc2012/index.php/call-for-papers/,... and we had installed the Form Tableless Layout - 1.1.1 add-on.

Are you sure, you get spam through contct form? Maybe just by this unsecured email, which is visible in header?

It's good to use some e-mail obfuscator... I use this one - just install and it's working:http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/automatic-email-obfusca...

And of course - ones spambot get your email, it will send spam longlife, so now only good antispam on your mail box would work.

Hey. Yes, it could be, but I don't know how to check if it's unsecured email by looking in the header.

In any case, it's weird that the body of the email is in exactly the same format as our old form, same fields, everything, right down to the subject line.

I meant email in header if page, not header in html... :)

Ok - it was my next question... :) I'm glad that everything is ok now.

Ah, this is embarrassing. We just found out that spam was coming from a test form that someone put on the website before we switched to concrete5. I'm sorry to have wasted your time!
