Speeding up this site

Hi all,
I'm trying to find ways of speeding up a site I built and wondering where and what I should begin editing. It's hosted with Rackspace, so it should be snappy, but I've attached the Firebug Net console report and you can see it's taking nearly 10s to load. Other sites load quickly btw.
Any ideas?
