Hoping someone can help / advise

We have a site currently which we'd like to add another instance of eCommerce too. We currently have a US store but would like a UK one also.

Now is the easiest way to do this to create a UK copy of the site and then use the geo redirect addon to point the UK to UK and US to US? Or can we somehow create an UK e-commerce install only point the UK traffic to it?

I'm confusing myself!

Any thoughts would be appreciated!
