Strange issue where the edit bar vanishes

Hi, hope someone can help.

I have a version of concrete (8.1.0) installed, the site has been live for a few months but its developed a strange issue where the edit bar disappears on certain pages that are using the same template, however, that's only when your navigating around using the autonav, if you navigate the website using the sitemap, the edit bar is always there, if you turn off pretty urls its always there too.

Im using the .htaccess code that's recommended when you turn on pretty urls.

Has anyone got any ideas? Having searched the forum, i've checked that the header and footer element is loading and im not loading jquery multiple times, but again, these shouldn't be the issue as its working on some pages that are using the same template.

Thanks in advance.

Is your host using Varnish? This sounds like the browser is serving an cached version of the page sometimes.

It's hosted on TMD as they are recommended on the concrete site, I've put a ticket in with them in case they have any ideas.

I've cleared the cache from within the dashboard, I've turned the all the caching settings off and still getting the same issue, I'm baffled. This is about the 5/6 concrete site I've built so am still relatively new to the CMS.

Thanks for the reply Hutman.
