Styling the Auto-nav with sections/titles in drop down menu

Hi Team

I am using the ambient CSS3 menu drop down, which i understand uses the auto nav to create the pages for the drop down section etc.

Now My question is here, I have a top menu called "Apps & Platforms" with sub pages.. 3 for apps and 3 for platforms.

Now these display nice and correctly. But what I would like to do is tto display text in the drop down like below:

Apps - ( These are not pages for links just text to show the sections?)
App1
App2
App3
Platforms - ( These are not pages for links just text to show the sections?)
platform1
Platfor2
Etc

Is this possible on the autonav block somehow? Or will I need to manually build the menu in-order to style it like so?
I have need this option before and not sure how easy to do this is? I know If I build the Nav manually I can do what I want? But I still want the nav to update when a new app page is created?

I guess I can use some sort of page attribute to tell the nav to out it in a section? and an if statement to create the text at the top once?

Any ideas anyone? or is their an addon which does this already?

P.s My site doesn't use any .js script on load only to help with css3 compatibility. I would like to have no js, or json need to view the home page if possible? So no js heavy menus.

Thanks for the help
