I don't know if there is something already available, but I'm looking for a way that allows users to subscribe to a section of content -- like Human Resources -- and when new information is posted, everyone that is subscribed gets an email.

I am thinking this would be something like a blog post, and when there is a new post, they would get an email. But, I can't seem to determine if this requires an add on or if it already available.
