Hello, I am having a little issue here.

I wish to have a SugarCRM Web-to-Lead Contact Form on a website, I believe it would be better.


Basically I wish a form that posts to my SugarCRM instance. it means it will be posting to another folder on my server. SugarCRM gives me the URL to post to, but on C5 to post to that URL I think I'll either have to put the HTML for the Form, or put up an external form and do everything by hand. Quite the waste of effort on my opinion.


And then, if possible, I wish to control the forms using the Select Boxes. Basically by the selection of the user I will know if I should E-Mail the Form to the company (A compliment, for example), send to SugarCRM (Get a quote, for example), and then if I do send to SugarCRM, to whom I send it (A PHP conditional would allow me to do that easily, selecting the user to assign the lead).


Now if I'm right, that means I'll have to create the Form, plus create the form.php (Or whatever I name it) to deal with everything and evaluate the conditions, and then I'll have to post again to SugarCRM, if I want to go there.

No issues, I like complex, but... I also like C5 forms and C5 way to display the results (Yeah, I use it a lot), and it would be pretty great if I had a few more options.

Now, considering everything in C5 is fairly simple, but when you learn about it you discover a ton of features, I keep wondering if I'm doing something wrong with the forms, or if I have a good way to deal with it without having to code everything out of C5, and just paste the damned HTML. Feels like a bit of waste, and just "wrong" IMO.
