superfish customization

I'm having trouble working out how to customize superfish menus - they look ugly by default. I want them to look like the ones the concrete site uses.

Does anyone have any example code I can have a look at to make my menu look like concrete's website?

I'm no expert at php / css, but I can work my way around - examples will be very helpful.

Thanks.

Buy CSSEdit, and get the Firebug plugin for Firefox. You can then reverse engineer any website, although I recommended reverse engineering only for learning purposes.

Hello HiVoltage! hehe to empower your voltage you should definately check out what the guru on css based menus has to say here:http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menus/...

Hope this answers your question :)

Buy the Book "Beginners guide to Concrete5"
http://www.packtpub.com/concrete5-beginners-guide/book...

This has three step by step examples of building custom autonav templates.

I'd suggest ditching superfish in favour of this:
http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/mega-menu/...
It looks a lot better and is easier to customise.

It's got 8 built-in skins or designers can create their own skin with a bit of CSS knowledge. Every single element on the mega menu can be styled with CSS.

Yeah the mega menu seems like a nice addon.
