Superfish drop styling

Anyone who has CSS expertise and ability to view a site in IE7 - this is driving me crazy. I have troubleshooted my share of IE6 and IE7 issues, and just can't figure what I am missing.
I have a drop-down menu working fine except for extra spacing under each nav list item in IE6 and IE7. The background color of the ul tag is the darker color showing through. I have it as such to help see where the extra space is coming from. I want to get it working like in any other browser. I tried changing padding, margins, height of li tags, li a tags, etc.
Screenshots of it working properly and not included.
Thanks to anyone who is willing to help. Need an extra eye.

Woops! I forgot to add the link. It is now above.
Can't view the link at the moment but usually if you put a border on the drop down it fixes things like this in IE.
Ahh I see you have a border on it. Possibly this:

Thanks. That was a life saver and exactly what I needed. Took a while for me to get back and write this - but thanks so much.
No problem!
