Survey Block - Skewed Results?

I have a survey block on the page with 17 choices.

One of those choices has 76% of the votes. There are over 8300 votes.

I'm afraid that someone figured out a way to cheat the survey and is voting for them self multiple times.

Is there a way around this other than forcing users to register?

Yes,

edit your block, go to options, then Set the "Solving a CAPTCHA" to Yes

That's not an option in the Survey block.
