Table based shipping shopping modifier

Hi, I installed the new Version of table based shipping for ecommerce. I got the shipping rates separated width the weight. But now after update the user can choose which weight he want. But i should get calculated automatically? If i uncheck the checkbox "enable shopping modifier" the shoppiung modifier still displays to the users. Don´t know how to solve this. Can you help?
