text not saving and showing

Being using C5 for a while now, but still consider myself a complete novice!
Using "Simple Blue" theme, been going well to build a simple site, than all of a sudden today, doing the most basic of thing. Using the "edit content" wysiwyg box, to add a few lines text to Homepage and it doesn't save my work - it's worked fine for weeks, but now - nope! Can't think I've done anything weird. Funny thing, if I type a single line, say, "this is test content" it WILL save. But try to add a para or two - no luck!
Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated, please?

THANKS - for the record, I've resolved the issue. I remembered I turned a security feature on and remember reading it said it could impact things and seems it did. Switched it off and now back to normal.
