Theme Page Types

I'm having a problem with page types. The page types associated with certain themes aren't showing up on my site. It's happening no matter which theme I apply. Am I missing a set up step?

Have you tried going to Dashboard > Themes and clicking on the "Inspect" button next to the theme you're using. This should show you all available page types and allow you to install them if necessary.

hope it helps!

edit: I type too slow... good answer jordif

Once the theme is installed, have you selected "Inspect" before activating it? I believe the "Inspect" page will give you prompts if action is needed to activate a page type.
The path is Dashboard > Pages & Themes > Themes > then select "inspect" for the theme in question.

Hope this helps :)

Thanks. There are no actions to take when I go there. It just says "None. This file will automatically be used..." and whatever the page type.

hmmm,
More detail is needed then, ie what theme, what page type, what happens when you select the page type from the list, does the page in question exist on the list at all, and maybe a site url so we can take a peek

Thx

They're not showing up on the list at all. It's happening with two different themes which tells me it's not a theme issue. I've attached screenshots to see if that helps.

Although requesting support from the theme developer (through the marketplace) is the best source for answers, it appears as though your pages are there.
Silence uses a full, a "headered", a left, and a right. According to the demo site...The varied columns are manually put into each page using the layout option for blocks.
Charisma is a one page - one style (right sidebar) that uses multiple panels to give the effect of different page types?

"Included Page Types
One Panel
Two Panel
Three Panel
Four Panel
*These are all basically right sidebar page types with the number of panels varying on each."

If your pages appear for the default C5 themes and others ( you can double check with a free theme or two) I would guess its more a case of what the theme is actually installing rather than what C5 is showing.
Sorry not to be more help

Here's a weird thing... I can change the Home page. All page types show up on the Home, but on no pages under it. Permissions are set on all of them to allow Administrators to change page types and I am an Administrator.
