It is pretty darn cool.

Maybe one day it could get turned into a package!

But for now it does the right job.

I'm looking at the source code for concrete 5.4.0.5 and it already has the "Events::fire('on_start', $this);" line above the "//Extract controller information..." comment that you mention in your INSTALL.TXT file.
Am I missing something, or did you create this with an older version of C5? If this event firing code is in the core now then there is no reason this can't be an addon -- would only take a few minutes to package up.

It was for version 5.3.3.1.

Havent bothered looking into it.

I got it from a c5 blog a long time ago and it did the trick.

Maybe you can fix it up....
