I need to offer forum functionality for a customer. I realy like to offer it within the CMS the same wat this forum works.

How is it, build? Are the code samples etc?

the forum block is far from ready as the team has been working on the ecommerence module. i would try to make a bridge to a forum like phpbb or smf

Is it possible to get a Vanilla style layout and themes for this forum, the forum that is in the add-ons is not quite what i'm after.

out of curiosity, what specifically are you looking for that the marketplace forums package lacks?

personally, more administrative power, and stuff that automatically happens, like when a user gets this many posts they are stuck in a certain group with a badge.

It's more the visual style and functionality of how this forum works, i'm guessing that this forum is based on the marketplace forum but visually they are very different.

I was expecting one to echo the other.
